Required Documents

Passport: Original Passport with validity of a minimum of three months (from the date of return) and two blank pages for visa stamp.
a) Photocopies of all valid and previous US, UK, and Schengen visas along with the entry and exit stamps.

Please note:
a) Passports issued beyond 10 years will not be accepted by the Embassy.
b) Handwritten passports will not be accepted.
c) Observation on the passport needs to be checked with The Embassy / VFS prior to the submission of the application.
d) Attach all your old passports (if any) and the photocopies of all the entry and exit stamps and visas in the same.

Greece Visa Application Form

Photo Specification: Two recent passport-size colored photographs with a matt or semi-matt finish. The photo should have a close-up of your head and the top of your shoulders so that your face takes up 70%-80% of the photograph, white background, and without a border (Size: 35mm x 40mm).
Please note: Photographs should not be more than 6 months old, scanned/stapled, and should not be used in any of the previous visas.

Covering Letter: Covering Letter from applicant on business letterhead (if self-employed) mentioning name, designation, passport number, purpose, and duration of visit in brief. The letter should be duly signed by an authorized signatory with company stamp and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Embassy of Greece, New Delhi.

If self-employed:
- Company registration copy/partnership deed copy/ Shop establishment copy/ company memorandum copy etc.
If company employee:
- Company Leave/ NOC letter- (See attached NOC letter format)
- Salary slip for last 3 months with company seal and sign.
For student- School id card/ College id card copy

Airline Reservation: Ticket copy

Proof of Accommodation: Hotel Confirmation for the entire period of stay in the Schengen area.
Please Note: Hotel should match the ticket dates and the maximum stay should be in Greece, GTA bookings will not be accepted

Medical: Original Medical Insurance for the stay duration amounting to 30,000 Euros.

Financials documents:
a) Personal ITR for the last 2 yrs. Attested by the CA.
b) Original updated Bank Statement for the last 03 months mentioning the applicant’s name and address with bank seal and sign

Please note: Internet Bank statements will not be accepted. Only a Bank Statement with the name of the bank, branch address, contact number, applicant’s & company’s name, address, and account number would be accepted.

Fully vaccinated certificate copies with updated the passport copy

If the applicant is sponsored: proof of sponsorship and/or private accommodation by completing a national form of the Schengen State concerned (seethe website of the Member State of destination)

If the applicant is retired: Pension statements for the last three months, Proof of regular income generated by ownership of property or business.

Relationship proof: Spouse travelling together Spouse name to be endorsed in both the passports otherwise Original Marriage Certificate required apostille from MEA.

If the applicant is a minor:

- If the minor is traveling with only one parent, written consent certified by a public notary of the other parent or guardian, except in cases of a parent having sole custody or guardianship of the minor;
- If the minor travels alone (without parents), written consent, certified by a public notary, of both parents or guardians having custody or guardianship of the minor;
- Copies of the passport of the parents. If not applicable, the birth certificate of the applicant and copies of the ID cards of the parents.
- If one parent is having a Valid visa still consent letter certified by a Public notary is required from that parent.

Note:

- The Embassy may, in justified cases, request additional documents.
